Laura & Arpy's Autocare is a business venture set-up between two old friends in November 2017. The business was rebranded in July 2018 to Spanners With Manners - an unforgettable name, right?

Laura is the mechanic and Arpy is the businesswomen. This business was primarily set up to give our customers a trustworthy and honest service. We strive to improve the female experience at a garage.

Our aim isn't to just focus on the nuts and bolts of a job, but instead to concentrate on being at the very heart of the customer experience.

We provide diagnostics, servicing and repairs using our state-of-the-art equipment. We have the technical software to diagnose and reprogram modern cars. We specialise in all makes and models, these being just a few of them - Audi, BMW, Chryslers, Dodge, Ford, Jeep, Mini, Seat, Skoda, Land Rover and Volkswagen.

Laura was trained by Porsche 16 years ago as an Apprentice, she has many years of experience and has been fortunate enough to work for Totteridge Cars for over 4 years in the capacity of a Master Technician and a MOT Tester.

Laura is a fully qualified Mechanic who treats every car with due respect. She possess a proven track record of giving customers a first-class service during every visit.

Arpy holds all the right business acumen to make this new business venture a huge success. Previously, Arpy worked as a Business Consultant and currently runs a property maintenance company in North London.

We have now employed a female apprentice to join our team at Spanners With Manners. We feel excited for providing this fantastic opportunity to our apprentice who is thrilled to be part of our journey.

Our intention is for our first aprentice (Megan) to be our Area Manager in 5 years time, whilst we train many more female mechanics along the way.
